The Communication Ministry is a full service-oriented Ministry. They provide the means by which the Gospel of Jesus Christ and information about Shiloh Baptist Church of Washington programs are shared with the Shiloh family and friends of the world through audio, print, visual media sources, technology and social networks.
There are nine committees that comprise the Communication Ministry. Below is a brief description of the services that these teams provide for Shiloh, its groups and individual members.
Audio | Ronald Felton and James Janifer
The Audio team provides amplification for all worship services and funerals. They also record and edit tapes for use on our weekly radio broadcast, The Shiloh Hour (WYCB 1340 AM).
audio media | Karlton Hart and Cornell Williams
The Audio Media team creates and sells tapes of the worship services, and special events. They continue to oversee production for the Shiloh Hour.
Marketing | Mac Paschal and Joy Patterson
The Marketing team developed Shiloh's logos, church-wide and business publications. They have also established guidelines for Shiloh's printed and digital material. In addition, they design and provide Shiloh's church-wide and business material. This subcommittee creates and reviews all material developed for church-wide dissemination for appropriateness.

The Publications team provides superb graphic design services at no cost for Shiloh organizations and committees. Their flyers/posters and cover designs are creative and stunning. Part of their portfolio is featured in the library, computer lab and welcome brochure.
Public Relations |
The Public Relations team is experienced in media relations and serves as Shiloh's liaison to the media requesting interviews and for official statements from the pastor. This team develops promotional materials for all Shiloh groups that request them. This includes developing public service announcements for broadcast media, press releases and media advisories for print media and other public relations documents.
Social Media | michelle lesane mccleod
The Social Media team is our newest subcommittee. With the explosion of social media sites, the Communication Ministry felt the need to examine and expand Shiloh's presence on those mediums.

Technology | Joy Patterson and Leslie Petersen, sr.
The Technology team provides FREE technical support to Shiloh's members, friends, and visitors. They.manage the computer lab, teach computer classes, lead technical workshops, and sponsor the monthly Wi-Fi Walk-in Technology Clinic, Shiloh's public and intranet sites. Village Copy Shop | karlton hart | fay Thompson | Edwin Washington
The Copy Shop team provides high quality duplication services for Shiloh members at costs less than those of commercial establishments. The primary functions in the Copy Shop are printing flyers, program booklets, postcards, and tickets for programs. They also work with vendors to develop posters and banners.
Visual Media | Christine Barker-Odom and Warren Pyles
The Visual Media team was established in 2010. Its first assignment was to provide a visual presentation to accompany Shiloh's annual Messiah concert. Since that time, this subcommittee has branched out to create material for church meetings, funerals (when available) and outside special events that come to Shiloh. By displaying scriptures, words to hymns, announcements, and other visuals, they have become an integral part of our worship services.

The Web Content Management Team is the key point of contact for Shiloh’s Ministries and Groups to evangelize their presence on Shiloh’s website. They also manage the web content and projects related to the website. They edit, and proofread new content, as well as ensure that all material meets Communication Ministry’s established content standards and policies; as well as adheres to Shiloh’s principles and beliefs.
