“The Covid 19 pandemic has taken a heavy toll on our lives and the health of our churches and the nation. During this time, many wonderful dedicated members have crossed over to be with the Lord. Because of social distancing, the vast majority of friends, family and Shiloh members did not have the opportunity to honor our departed loved ones in a manner to which we are accustomed. Shiloh’s Wall of Remembrance is not intended to replace that rite and tradition. Instead, it has been erected to begin that process by acknowledging and paying tribute to lives well lived in the name of our most holy and gracious heavenly Father and to joyously celebrate the beginning of their new life.

As we gaze back in time to remember and relive cherished memories both jubilant and trying, we commemorate those who worked in God’s vineyard to ensure they will never be forgotten. However, we must also attend the present by praying for the families who are grieving and be comforted that faith teaches us that earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot cure.”
